Access 2007,reports,VBA

I have a field in my report which contains GPS information. I am trying toget the value from this field and use it in VBA code to convert it to decimal notation. I am trying to do this in an unbound text box so I would have the GPS value and it's decimal value side by side in my report. I came across some VBA code that does the conversion, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get the GPS value from my field (NLatitude) into the VBA code as a variable.
